Love Reading: A Pride and Prejudice Embroidery

Stitch a tribute to literature's greatest romance.

If you believe in the timeless power of a good book and possess a truly romantic heart, this embroidery kit was made for you. Welcome to a project that weaves together a love for classic literature with the gentle art of embroidery.

Inspired by Jane Austen’s magnificent novel, Pride and Prejudice, this design is a heartfelt homage to one of the most beloved love stories ever told. The centrepiece is a beautiful open book—a gentle reminder to keep our own hearts open to new stories and possibilities.

From Jane Austen's Garden to Your Hoop

Flowing from the pages are a selection of our favourite flowers, each one chosen from the types of blooms Jane Austen herself would have grown in her traditional English garden. Many of them, rich with symbolism, still flourish today. As you stitch, you will bring to life:

• Wild Buttercups & Daisies: Representing charm and innocence.
• Forget-me-nots: A classic symbol of true and undying love.
• Love-in-a-Mist: Signifying love and delicacy.
• Sweet Briar: For beauty and poetic inspiration.

This is more than just a craft; it's an invitation to slow down and connect with a timeless story, creating a beautiful piece that celebrates love, literature, and the enduring beauty of nature.
