Description
There are so many things to love about beeswax wraps, aside from being great for the environment. The function of these reusable wraps is to replace cling film or foil wherever possible, creating a more sustainable way of wrapping food with less plastic waste. They are made by penetrating fabric with wax, which creates malleable sheets that can be used for covering bowls of food or wrapping your sandwiches. The wax has tried and tested antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which can reduce the risk of contamination and prevents the growth of fungi and yeasts.
Our wraps are created with premium food-grade beeswax pellets made in the UK, 100 % premium cotton squares and eco-friendly dye.
In this box, you are not only going to learn how to make the wraps but also dye them using some stylish modern tie-dye techniques. So every one of your wraps is unique to you. You can choose from two colours, blueberry or raspberry.
This box is great fun and doesn’t require any previous experience to create. You can make 5 large 30cm/ 30cm ( approx.) beeswax wraps with this box. The wraps can also be cut to the size you require.
*We use the branded cold hand dye Dylon in this box, which is classed a safe dye for home use. Dylon dyes have been tested for their environmental impact; the dye dilutes in the water to a safe level (for humans and animals) and can be dealt with effectively in the sewage system.
